We’re really pleased to announce that girls’ football is returning to the club for the 2023/24 season, following an absence of several seasons.
With interest in the female game at an all-time high in the UK, research shows that - for the most part - girls enjoy playing football with other girls, so we’ll be offering girls-only football at HT from September. Why not join us?
To re-launch things, we’ll be holding three completely free football ‘taster sessions’ at the Club. These will only be available to U7s, U8s and U9s girls (in other words, you’ll need a date of birth between 1/9/14 and 31/8/17). We aim to offer girls’ football to more age groups over time. Girls in the U5s and U6s age groups are still able to join the HT Academy (mixed gender) and then progress to girls-only football when they get to U7 age group.
Our taster sessions will take place at Hazlemere Recreation Ground on 2nd, 9th and 16th September, and will last for an hour each from 1100-1200. You don’t need any experience in football – just turn up and have some fun! You will of course need boots or trainers to play in and suitable clothing.
After this, any girls who wish to sign up for the season can do so for just £25.
